I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled

An Ordinance to provide for the Regulation of the Import and

Export of Cattle and other Live Stock to and from the Colony

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to

the Governor's Instructions,

Set of

Mahu in to ensure that arrangements shall be made whereby

the sufferings of cattle and other live stock exported from

this Colony shall be lessened and so far as possible mini-

-mised.
